So. It's coming.

I can't say that I'm looking forward to this the same way you are. And no, knowing what will happen doesn't make it any better. I know that better than anybody else.

Though I will admit I am looking forward to seeing Chani again, and my sister. Duncan, my mother, and Gurney too. You have to savor the good moments when you can, like drops of water in the desert, because they never last.

Especially when you want them to.

I don't understand why everyone is so worried. I am alive. I am just trapped in this terrible hospital. What is the big deal?? [ What is getting hit by a truck when you are of Imperator's bloodline?

Worst-case scenario, he finally gets a new face via "reconstructive surgery" ( like his mother, after her 4852 car crashes), which he has wanted for some time. Everyone, calm down. ]

Performing some traffic maintenance today

Happy Saturday!

I'm going to be doing a little maintenance today. It will likely cause a tiny interruption of service (specifically for www.dreamwidth.org) on the order of 2-3 minutes while some settings propagate. If you're on a journal page, that should still work throughout!

If it doesn't work, the rollback plan is pretty quick, I'm just toggling a setting on how traffic gets to the site. I'll update this post if something goes wrong, but don't anticipate any interruption to be longer than 10 minutes even in a rollback situation.
